New Patient Appointment - Women's Health
€120.00

A comprehensive assessment for women experiencing pelvic floor symptoms. This appointment covers assessment of the female pelvis, pelvic floor, pelvic pain, painful sex, urinary incontinence, bladder urgency or frequency, prolapse and faecal incontinence.

This appointment is around 1 hour.

Postnatal check up
€120.00

Suitable from 6 weeks postnatal. This appointment includes a musculoskeletal assessment, diastasis recti abdominis (DRAM) check, pelvic floor assessment and caesarean section scar review where relevant. You’ll receive advice and guidance on returning to exercise after pregnancy.

The appointment is around 60 minutes.

Pelvic Girdle Pain / Pregnancy Musculoskeletal
€90.00

Assessment and treatment of pregnancy-related musculoskeletal pain. Pelvic girdle pain can be felt in the groin, pubic bone, hips, sacrum and glutes. Suitable at any stage of pregnancy.

This appointment lasts about 45 minutes.

Follow up appointment
€90.00

A review and follow-up after your initial women’s health assessment. Suitable for ongoing treatment and progress review.

These appointments last approximately 45 minutes.

Cancellation Policy

I understand that sometimes plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give at least 24 hours’ notice so that your slot can be offered to another patient.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, and appointments not attended, will be charged the full appointment fee. This policy is in place out of respect for other patients who may be waiting for an appointment.

In exceptional circumstances, exceptions may be made at Orla’s discretion. If you have any concerns, please email hello@orlamccarthyphysio.com as soon as possible.

Insurance and payment

Orla is a member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP), and sessions may be reimbursed by VHI, Laya Healthcare and Irish Life. Please check with your provider for the level of cover on your plan.

Tax relief is available on physiotherapy fees under the MED 1 scheme. Visit revenue.ie for details.

Payment is taken securely online at the time of booking via Stripe.
